What a horrible experience at North York General Hospital. No communication between the departments at all. Went for an ultra sound, they told me to go back to waiting room and gave me an empty bright blue laminated folder. I asked what that was for and the technician said so that they see you.
I took said empty folder and sat in Emergency for 1 hour 20 minutes with no one calling my name. I finally walked up to a nurse and asked if this was normal and she said, you need to check in. I said I was told to come.here with my blue folder and wait. She was extremely rude and unsympathetic. What a horrible hospital. Not even if I was dying would I return here.
