My 80 year old mother was left on a stretcher bed for 4 days!!!! I tried to speak to nurses who constantly told me they were “so busy” as this was the ER !!~!!! they kept saying they had no beds available!! this is disgusting. and because she did not get a room she did not get to see a geriatric psychiatrist nor a social worker that she desperately needed !!! Was told she would not be able to have these consults without being in a room but if they do not have a room you get not services!! I am so upset! I have been crying for days I feel so bad for my mom who needs this care. I thought Canada had great care but I suppose not!
