This is about Etobicoke General hospital. After my baby was born we were called in 2 days to check baby for jaundice. And then we had to admit him so we were assigned a room in paediatric. At around 8.30 in evening so the nurse came in and she said we are moving you to post partum due to unavailablity of beds. We were still fine.. but here we were put in a room where lights weren’t proper, one bed was broken my husband was given one chair for the whole night and people in this department were not fully knowledgeable about using the machine in which my baby was kept. Additionally bathroom door was broken, hand wash thing was broken too.. and then they mentioned that we are short staffed due to weekend.. i mean seriously weekend that too for hospital.. it was ridiculous.
