I know with Covid things have been different but my sister has been in the hospital for over a month and not once has anyone called to update me (emerg contact, next of kin). I have called over and over and yes I’ve spoken to nurses and doctors but its through my efforts. Since we cannot visit and I am her spokesperson how am I supposed to know just how ill she is and if her treatment has been appropriate and what comes next? She’s to ill to be home and no one seems to know exactly why. They treat the immediate symptoms but are not inclined to look any further. I am very very frustrated.
