I already filed one complaint. Here is the rest of the story. On Saturday I went to a clinic for a bleeding urethra and got transfered to the ER where they completely bungled my case. When I finally got results after being in the ER for 8 hours for blood tests I didn’t want to do they came back normal (shocker for a localized urethra bleed from a maybe passed kidney stone). And instead of the ultrasound I got referred to the ER for the next day they sent me for a CAT scan without contrast for generalized abdomen pain . As the ER doctor on duty told me then “uhm that was the wrong test to check for stones and bleeds normally they do one with contrast” he said they didn’t see structural problems in the renal organs ( shocker for a passed kidney stone ). So they subjected me to gross amounts of radiation doing an expensive procedure that was supposedly useless….awesome. I walked out in frustration still bleeding from my urethra because the only thing they wanted to do for me was to have me sit there another 2 hours to wait for a phone number to call a specialist to wait to schedule a consult to put a camera up me ( while still bleeding)….Not one person examined my bleed or made a move to after YOUR clinic referred me to try and help me or give me advise on how to stop bleeding. I don’t feel like your hospital cares if I bleed out or not. You should be ashamed of yourselves…
