I received a telephone call form Turner and Porter of Barrie, Ontario, this past Sunday, February 22, 2015, suggesting that their company would be pleased to assist my family in any way possible. This was because they were aware of major surgery which I had recently received.

I called the number back to confirm that it was not a prank call and, a Turner and Porter representative answered.

Please advise how such a major privacy violation occurred!

I will inquire of the funeral home as to who supplied the information.
