Aunt was taken to Grace Hospital emergency from Nursing home when ambulance workers were taking patients anywhere, her records are at Scarborough General and I was told that was where she was going, but, she ended up at Grace.
She was diagnosed with Bronchitis and released before we found her and sent back to the home, with them think it was not an emergency and telling me not to worry come see her on the weekend. She was misdiagnosed and the next day she DIED as she had Pneumonia not Bronchitis and she died alone as I did not make it there to see her because no one thought it was Pneumonia and an emergency for a 91 year old woman. Very poor humanity from that hospital and will NEVER go the Grace Hospital ever. Should have filed a malpractice suit but we know they get no where. Our health system is a complete disgrace!
