Enter Hospital with my father very ill dying from lung cancer only to have family gathered around bed on the terminal floor.My daughter mentions to me she noticed my fathers middle name on his hospital bracelet was not his. He had somebody elses name bracelet on. Complained to the nurse whom cut it off and left the room promptly Within seconds then took his last breath. Dealing with the grief of a sick and dying family member then having to deal with the hospitals negligence was devestating for our family who was in shock. It was like just as she cut the hospital bracelet he took his last breath. Makes me wonder what the other person wearing my fathers hospital bracelet was getting for medication.Oh and by the way he was in the hospital for third day at this point three days not one nurse checking his bracelet.
