It is my nawruz (Persian new years) and there is a special event tonight. I have had occasional back pain for a few years now and my doctor occasionally prescribes me medication for pain. He is currently in Haiti and he has always told me if I can’t reach him and I need assistance to go to the hospital. Since the moment I got here I have been treated as a drug seeking attic and have been constantly pushed to the back of the waiting list.i have now been here for over 2 – 3 hours and everyone before and after me has come and gone. I am now going to miss the nawruz celebration with my family and that was the only reason I came here. They ALL think that anyone in is a drug attic and treat them like garbage. This is the most demeaning treatment and pathetic excuse for health care.
