My dad was in for checkup for his fractured leg and doctor said that the first operation did not go well so they will take him right away for second surgery – that being said… no food for him since morning.
after doctor checkup – he was made to sit on the wheel for 5 hours to wait for bed in ER… what the fuk….
patient who cannot sit for more then 2 hours… is made to sit for 5 hours…. till he complains about his broken ribs hurting him and broken leg starts to swell…..

he is given a bed… in ER… then he is sent of to ortho dept… BUT shocking… he is moved from ER and in ortho there are not BEDS>…. he was parked at hallways.. under bright lights and nurses .. fighting as to who should do the job…. not even concerned that there is a patient lying next to their area and who needs to sleep… not like these nurses… who would work for new hours and then go to sleep in morning… one nice nurse… moved him to dark area and now is atleast able to take a nap…

I mean com on – we are paying $1000’s per day and there is no beds… in the hospital… it reminds me of 3rd world country… hopefully Canada medical system… is not coming down to 3rd world.. level…
