emergency wait time and incompetence St. Catharines General
My husband was admitted into St. Catharines General for a baterial infection which caused one side of his head to swell and eye to close shut. He was admitted for 3 days and was on antibiotics and demerol through IV. During his stay he started to have convulsions and the nurses and doctors ignored that symptom. It has know been 4 days since his discharge and we have been back to the hospital 3 times because the convulsions have gotten so bad. The hospital continues to send him home with the explaination “they are unable to help him”. We are both scared and don’t know what to do…. he is currently on valium to mask the problem but we are both scared and don’t know what to do.
