What has happened to Canada’s Healthcare? We have turned into a 3rd World Country. I fear for my mother’s life as she recovers from a hemmorhagic stroke at the Kingston General Hospital. First they try to advise us to remove her feeding tube while she was in a coma for 3 weeks and now while she is recovering, they carelessly take care of her – not washing her, cleaning her bowel movements and pulling out her cathedor while she is on blood thinners therefore causing more bleeding. I believe she would not have had the brain hemmorhage if she wasn’t even in the hospital to begin with! Since when should we fear patients lives when they are in the hospital?
